My feast is nearing completion.
I can't help but smile. With my friends out of town for a convention, I knew ahead of time that I would finally have a weekend of solitary relaxation, a much needed one at that. It was about a week ago that I decided I was going to make a nice dinner for myself one of the nights, which is what I am doing right now.

Regardless of what the main focus is in any given dish, the key to making it a success is in the vegetables.
