I turned the tables and all of the sudden the joke was on him.
My arch rival was waiting for me in the parking lot after school. I wasn't sure exactly how far he was going to take the confrontation, but it certainly wasn't going to be a friendly chat, I knew that much. I suppose I had it coming, I did steal his candy bar the other day, but this was not what I envisioned happening after school.

I thought I was going to go with my friends to Chipotle, but Dustin was standing right next to my car, forcing me to face him. All the goodness of the chicken fajita burrito with a mixture of the corn salsa and mild salsa, cheese and lettuce that I had been daydreaming about the entire time I was sitting in my last period class was starting to seem like a fantasy that would never happen. First, I was blocked by the fact that I had to endure more class before my feast, now I had to deal with this kid who was angry that I stole his candy bar. Was I ever going to get my burrito?

“Yo punk, I heard you stole my candy bar,” he said as I approached my car.

“Nahh, that ain't me,” I lied.

“Don't mess with me, I know it was you.”

At this point, a lot of people were gathered around us, hoping to catch a fight. I wasn't really in the mood, I was just hungry.

“Man, I just want to go to Chipotle, can we just drop this?” I asked, wondering how he would react to the suggestion.

“Oh, you're hungry? Oh, well I am soooooorry to delay your eating, sir. Please, by all means continue onward to Chipotle.”

“Thanks, man,” I replied, ignoring his overload of sarcasm.

“Can I see that watch you have for a second?”

“Sure,” I said, handing it over.

He proceeded to take a look at the watch and subsequently smashed it on the ground, adding an extra stomp with his foot at the end. As he walked away from me, I pull out my 16-Piece Watch Repair Kit and hold it in the air.
