When he was just a boy, Edward Nagna loved cooking. His schoolteacher announced a contest one day over who could cook the best hamburger. Fueled by an intense desire for the glory of victory, Edward went to Shake Shack and bought the best hamburger they had. During the contest, he switched them as if he made the delicious Shake Shack burger. He won the contest and his prize was the Cuisinart 5-in-1 Stainless Steel Griddler.

From that moment onward, Edward spiraled downward in mental instability. Taking the Griddler name for his own, he was responsible for many acts of destruction. His trademark was the chance of survival he offered to each of his victims. If they were able to successfully cook him a delicious meal, any belongings stolen would be returned and any threat on a life would be revoked.
