All of the sudden, he was famous.
By the look in his wife’s eyes as she approached him, Stephen knew something expensive was about to happen. The last time he saw that look he had to take out another mortgage, so as she stormed over to him he did his best to look incredibly busy, despite knowing in the back of his mind that every attempt as resistance was futile.

“Stephen I chipped a nail!” she said, seemingly on the verge of a complete breakdown.
