Slowly but surely, I was losing my mind.
The world seemed so simple just a few years ago. I thought I had it all figured out to at least a small degree. These days, I don't know. Stuff I thought were sure things weren't and none of the usual things could make any of it better.
This probably doesn't even make any sense. It's hard to put into just a short little bit the information needed to properly dictate my concerns. Nowadays I find myself disappearing for hours at a time, singing the song “Basketball Jones featuring Tyrone Shoelaces” all the time, Googling pictures of lobster rolls and obsessing over a poster depicting a cat as big as a mountain...what has my life come to? I'm listening to Hall & Oates right now! What's wrong with me?
At least one of my constants still remains: the Black & Decker 4 Slice 1200 Watt Toast-R-Oven. I make toast in it almost every day. My coworker makes pizza in it every day. For at least a few minutes I can prepare my toast before returning to my madness filled life, complete with pictures lobster rolls.
