Everything went completely black.
The storm picked up around 8 or 9 at night and increased in strength gradually by the hour. June was watching the movie Bonafried with 3 of her best friends, but as the weather worsened it became much more difficult to pay attention to the television. Then, without any warning, the lights went out; the girls were engulfed in total blackness.
“Oh no!” her friend Becky screamed. “It’s dark!”
“Does anyone have a flashlight?” Helen asked.
