Leaving, on a jet plane.
While I was in the taxi on my way to the airport, I sang along to the song “Leaving on a Jet Plane” by Peter, Paul and Mary. I found it fitting as I was indeed about to be leaving on a jet plane.
Or so I thought.
A miscalculation in travel time had my rushing through the airport as fast as I could. Of course I was stopped for a “random search”. Also, of course, I was behind the guy that repeatedly forgot there were metallic items on his person. To make matters worse, however, my luggage exploded as I ran through the terminal.
“You should have bought the Victorinox Seefeld Expandable Suitcase … that never would have happened!” a random person said to me.
“Can you help me out, please?” I asked, pulling together all my clothes and personal items that spilled all over the floor.
