And that's when I gave him the dragon sauce.
Being a waiter, I have to take a lot of crap from people. Most of the time it's our fault, but some people just get under my skin a little more than they are entitled. I try to be stoic, nice even, to these customers, but when lines are crossed they get a whole different waiter.
The restaurant I work at specializes in wings. We have like a bajillion different sauces ranging from hot buffalo to barbeque to strange sauces that might scare you. Now, this jerk comes in with his two kids and they each order a dozen wings, a single order at the establishment.
“And can I have half the wings barbeque and half of them goldslime?”
Oh no he didn't.
I make the most menacing, disgusted and annoyed face I could while writing his order down. I continued to stare into his eyes while I scribbled, drastically decreasing the legibility of my writing.
How dare him. What a jerk. I cursed his existence the entire time I was in the back kitchen, standing next to our Cuisinart Electric Pressure Cooker, overwhelmingly the best cooking appliance we have in the restaurant and probably the best thing I've ever seen in my life. Normally I just hand the orders off to the cook, but I wanted to take “special care” of this guy's wings. I let the cook prepare the chicken as usual, but I told him that I wanted to do the rest. And that's when I gave him the dragon sauce.
When their food was ready, I placed it in front of him and slowly moseyed away, hoping to catch a glimpse of his first bite. As soon as his mouth touched the wing, he immediately fell backwards onto the floor and starting choking to death. His kids started screaming for help and stuff, but I knew what was going on: that jerk just got dragon sauced.
