When word got out that I knew everything there was to know about the Northpoint Wireless Weather Station, there was a line running from my front door to the end of the block in front of my house every morning. Everyone, it seemed, wanted a taste of my knowledge.
The thing was, I could tell these people the temperature both inside and outside. This was knowledge that people would do anything to get. At first, I used it to my advantage, making people cook me large amounts of bacon and reading me bedtime stories, but then it became tiring. Despite the fun I had, I knew it was time to put a stop to all of it.
“Unfortunately, I do not know,” I said to them.
After that, they still assembled outside my house, but at night and with a bunch of torches and pitchforks … I kind of regretted my change of heart.
